Norway is a Nordic country on the western portion of the Scandinavian Peninsula, located in Europe, and bordering Sweden, Finland and Russia. Norway has a very elongated shape the country's extensive coastline along the North Atlantic Ocean is home to its famous fjords. Norway is divided into nineteen first level administrative regions known as fylker and 431 second level kommuner.19 fylkers are: Akershus, Aust-Agder, Buskerud, Finnmark, Hedmark, Hordaland, Møre og Romsdal, Nordland, Nord-Trøndelag, Oppland, Oslo, Østfold, Rogaland, Sogn og Fjordane, Sør-Trøndelag, Telemark, Troms, Vest-Agder and Vestfold.
